Mr. GIF

A collection started in 2009 of celebrity GIF portraits acquired from parties, events, functions, music shows, music festivals, fashion shows, etc. Invited to capture content for brands and publications online, a modded Nimslo and Nishika were used to create these animated GIFs. The repurposed 3D film cameras from the 1980s, originally intended for lenticular printing, were customized by an optometrist with a close-up lens that enabled the cameras to shoot closer than normal.
